Are There Effective Natural Cures for Asthma
I’ve been studying natural cures for asthma for years. Some natural cures have worked for me and others have not.
When I was diagnosed with asthma in the 1960s there was little known about it. According to my doctor the medical profession is still not sure what causes it. I heard one doctor say that one of the best ways to prevent it is to breast feed your children for at least the first year.
Every few years my doctor prescribes a newer, more effective, medication. But I would still prefer to control asthma naturally.
More and more patients who suffer from seasonal and chronic allergies are moving towards natural cures to get relief from the problem. They are finding these natural allergy remedies safe for their bodies.
It is commonly believed that consumption of any medication for long term is harmful for human body. Since a natural cure for asthma has a little or no side effects, it is becoming the preferable choice of sufferers.
At the same time, natural cure for asthma that is concerned with allergens in the environment is being considered highly effective. However, there is a lot that needs to be done in the field of natural cure therapies, but still a balanced approach to them results in the over-all improvement of health.
Various conditions can be associated with allergies; response of bodies to allergens present in the environment. Allergy relief provided in natural cure proves helpful in reducing the symptoms related to allergic reactions.
The extremeness of symptoms varies according to the level at which someone is allergic. Generally found allergens like dust, pollution or pollen prominently affects the areas of the body part that breathes.
The consequences will be sneezing, a runny nose, itchy eyes and irritation in the throat. All these ensure that your body is experiencing harmful substance in the air.
No doubt that asthma is a common disease, but at times it might prove deadly. That is why finding a natural cure for asthma along with proper medical treatment may prove helpful in preventing a traumatic asthma attack.
Histamine is produced by the human body. It is used by the immune system to clear off any substances that may prove harmful to your body. It is the natural body process that eliminates all the unknown substances or safeguarding the body against any kind of invasion.
Number of natural cures is being used for not only asthma but also for various allergies. These natural cures can be effectively used to keep a check and control over seasonal allergies, asthma and other skin reactions.
Personally I have found that diet, regular exercise (my doctor said swimming is the best) and location make a tremendous difference in how I feel. I can breath much better up in the mountains than where I currently live (lots of pollen and wind here). And by reducing the amount of dairy, sugar, and processed foods that I eat I have fewer asthma attacks. I also notice a big difference if our air cleaner is not running, so we basically keep it running 24/7.
One thing I learned recently is that cayenne pepper is good to take, so I have added that to my list of daily vitamins and minerals. If you do enough research you will find many things you can try to reduce the number and severity of your asthma attacks.
It might be different for you or for someone you know with asthma. Since asthma does kill people, be careful about dropping your medication. Natural cures can help a lot, but it is very important to keep an inhaler or your medication readily available for emergencies.
