Shedding Pounds Should Be Crazy Simple

Maybe this is a brave statement but I believe losing weight can be easy. In my humble opinion, the most important issue with folks trying to shed pounds is they are eating the wrong food. Maybe that sounds clear, and if you agree, wouldn’t the obvious solution be to begin eating the right foods?

I’m guessing that people today do not know what the most sensible foods are because of all of the mixed signals and misguidance.

Another barrier, besides lack of knowing is the issue with food dependency and addictions.

If I were to outline a diet schedule and suggested that it had everything the body needs to be healthy and said that you would only must do it for 3-4 weeks to see results, most of us would balk at the idea and not do it.

What’s engaging to me though is that those same men and women would go on arestricted diet just long enough to qualify for the weightloss surgery. You know, the one where they slice part of your stomach out so you can’t eat as much afterwards? Incomprehensible!

Seriously though, I feel that people are spreading mistruths when they suggest you need to eat meat in your diet. I feel wholeheartedly that folks can, and should, have a diet composed mostly of fruits and vegetables. Vegetables and fruit contain fat, protein, calcium and all the other nutrients that folks appear to believe aren’t present in them.

OK, assume for a second you believe me and the numerous other folks that suggest fruits and vegatables contain everything the body requires to survive and prosper and you are essentially ready to give it a go. Now what? What about the convenienceelement of fast food? And, who really wants to eat several salads and stir fries? Well, Ihave got a simple solution for you.

I’m going to describe a diet that I advise any one should at least try, after confirming with a naturopath doctor, for 2-4 weeks. Before beginning, get some blood work done. Check your vitamin levels ( B12, D, etc ). Test your minerals ( calcium, etc ). Check your cholesterol and anything else that’s on the blood work form that contributes to health. Then you will have hard numbers to compare against, besides your weight, after the diet is complete.Make sense?

Ready? Buy a blender. Get some of your favourite fruits, ideally organic. Get plenty of them including bananas, berries, mangoes, papaya, for example. Now get some greens, again, ideally organic. Get some kale, baby spinach, dandelion, parsley, dill, anything green and leafy. Get some avocados. Get some 100% juice in a carton for convenience sake. Now, whenever you feel hungry, mix 70-80% fruit in a blender with the rest greens. Just use one sort of green at a time and keep rotating them. Oh, and add some juice or water in there so it blends easier. Mix till smooth and drink. Tastes great and is void of all the crap you normally eat and is also full of digestive enzymes as it has not been heated. Avoid the supplements too, this has everything. Eat an avocado every day or two for healthy fats.

The greens mixed with the fruit will make the whole drink low glycemic, especially if you use berries. Also, you will be very well hydrated without the necessity for plain water. Don’t believe me? Check your pee. And you’ll have the best of what the earth has to supply being simply digested into your body.

You’ll detoxify as your body rids itself of the gunk from your past and you begin to heal. You can see a large amount of weirdness in your poop and it could be green in colour. Don’t be alarmed. You are healing and shedding pounds. And it will be green of course from the greens you are drinking. You could lose more than you want to at first but your body will bounce back to your ideal weight as you go on.
